Title: Utility Technician I

Location: Garland, TX 75042

Work Environment: On-site

Duration: 10/5/2026 to 1/4/2027 -3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance

Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Position Summary

This position provides general support to the laboratory team by maintaining raw material inventory, assisting with basic equipment setup and maintenance, and keeping laboratory work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing materials, moving supplies and equipment, and keeping workspaces organized.
• Assist with basic preventative maintenance and equipment setup.
• Track incoming and outgoing laboratory materials and supplies.
• Complete required forms and documentation related to inventory and assigned tasks.
• Work with internal teams to ensure necessary laboratory supplies are available.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive equipment.
• Ability to clean and maintain work areas, rooms, and equipment.
• Ability to follow established health and safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other applicable programs.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow and provide direction.
